I may be dead, but my spirit lives on

Strom here, you damn kids.
Due to an unfortunate recent personal event -- namely, my own bodily death -- I'll cease to be able to continue to enjoy the Earthly passions I once partook: The beauty of the South Carolina sunrise, the magic of my great-great-great-grandaughter's drawings, or the hilarity of faking out a street-Negro with a dollar bill tied to a string.
Yep, I had one hell of a ride, but this is just the beginning for me. (Don't forget: A conservative never truly dies.)
The whippersnappers running the show now are doing a fine job in my absence, and I'm here to tell you that you should support little George Bush for President. Bush, like his father and his father's father, understands the danger that can come to a great nation if you turn over too much power to certain people. I don't want to be politically incorrect here, so I'll just say that the "certain people" I'm talking about are black and leave it at that.
Back when I unsuccessfully ran for President myself in '48, I understood this. One of the keys points of my platform was that racial segregation was a God-given gift. In hindsight, I see where I went wrong. The system today is much more efficient, and that's what modernization is all about. Thanks to the Bushes and the Lotts and the rest of 'em, we basically have segregation -- but we don't draw too much attention to it. Excellent!
George W. Bush, young and naive as he may be, is the best thing to happen to America since crack-cocaine was invented and supplied to the inner-cities by the truckload. Well, almost.
Please, do what you can to see that Bush continues to lead you. Do it for yourself, but also do it for me. The Thurmonator (as George often called me) would appreciate it.
God bless America, and God bless George W. Bush. He told me yesterday he would, just so you know.
